Feedback from a confused candidate

Here's the sad story of a candidate that refused to be manipulated by another "staffing" company... Yes, he said he submitted my resume to "Company" first, based on a conversation we had on the 23rd. I don't remember ever talking with him and certainly never meeting him, which is one of the reasons I'm so confused since I thought these agencies were supposed to meet and pre-screen their recruits before recommending them. I mean, isn't that the whole point? Anyway, he goes on to say that since I was submitted to "Company" by "Wanna-be-professional Recruiting Firm" before PSI, that I would have to go through them if I wanted the interview. The whole process just seems really sketchy to me. If you tell me they're a real recruiting agency then I believe you, but they're obviously nothing like PSI. You brought me in and explained how everything worked at a time when I didn't really know what I was doing. I would much prefer to continue working with you exclusively.
